Materials contain Lawrence Keith Batley's obituary and his handwritten life history up until 1996. Includes a photocopy of a letter of commendation from his Commanding Officer and a photocopy of a letter his father wrote to him and his sister, Marjorie. Contains several newspaper clippings. Also contains the life history of Batley written by his wife, Elaine Batley and an audio cassette with an oral interview with Batley. Dated 1928-1944, 1996-2004.

Materials contain a transcribed interview of Leah Pierce Johnson conducted in 2002. Johnson discusses her life in Utah while her husband served overseas during World War II. She tells of serving in the VFW and the National Council of Administration, and traveling to Utah schools and scout troops to talk about patriotism and proper respect for the American flag until her death in 2005. Contains a photocopy of Johnson's obituary. Dated December 5, 2002 and 2005.
